But here it is! A tutorial on how to make pony ears, like the ones I used for the costumes I wore to Bronycon.

They’re really easy to make! These were the first thing I ever sewed, so anyone who has a basic knowledge of how a sewing machine works should be able to figure them out.

I don’t have an actual pattern because the size is all up to you! The ones I made for the tutorial turned out pretty small, so I’d suggest doing something that takes up maybe half a piece of computer paper, at least.

I hope this helps! I’ll be making a yarn tail tutorial soon.

All in all, I’d say it cost me less than $5 to make a single pair of pony ears using my method. AWWWWW YIIIIIIIIIIIII cheap cosplay.

As a note though they also tend to be less substantial than human collars so I'd recommend getting them anyway. X3 I'm planning on getting one from the collar factory myself when I have enough saved up. '\(^u^)/'

A few of my followers have actually bought collars from the Collar Factory and they all were very pleased with them with feel, fit, and durability.

On the subject of collars I have a bunch of dog collars which seem to work fine for me but I think it'd be a good idea for anyone to wear them a little loose what with all the blood vessels in your neck and all (I mean they take oxygen to your brain so I don't think it's a good idea to wear them tight enough to leave marks). A lot of my collars are also pretty much the same design as the single band ones from the-collar factory, just not made of real leather.
You said at/dog collars were bad. I bought to yesterday for 20% the price of those custom collars. They both fit. The cat one, my main one, does no harm to me, it seems. It leaves red lines but only to the extent a sock does- even last, actually. Opinions? :c

If you think your collar is okay, be my guest at using it. In the end, I’m certainly not an expert at collars and if it works for you, that’s great. I’m only concerned that people will accidentally hurt themselves wearing collars not made for them.

I recently figured out I'm an otherkin, but I don't know what to do about it. No one I know will understand and I really don't want to be sent to a shrink by my parents

Birds of a feather, my friend. You should consider finding people who are similar to your kintype and chat with them. They can really help you relieve stress while help you understand more about yourself. Kincyclopedia has a list of otherkin who are looking for friends and you might find someone of your kintype there!

As for your parents, tell them when you feel comfortable doing so. If you’re that concerned, don’t say anything and live life normally.

I believe that I might be multiple kinda of kin but I don't know what to do about it. I feel as if I am rat, owl, and possibly either canine or feline but I'm not sure. I can't talk to any one about this because I'm afraid they will think I am stranger than they have already perceived, that, and I don't know what other otherkin would think because i am different animals that hate one another :/

All that matters is what you’re comfortable with. It’s not unheard of for a rat and an owl to be friends and it’s definitely not uncommon for cats and dogs to be friends.

Just relax, doing some soul searching, and breathe. In the end, what other people think of you comes as a hard second to what you think about yourself. Don’t worry about other people and just focus on finding yourself. In the end, you could be all of them, some of them, or none of them. Just so long as you’re comfortable with it and identify with it.
